Yes, I’m the representative of the messy generation. The generation in which women can be angry and men can be gentle. In which philosophers can play football and footballers can philosophise. I’m the representative of the generation marked by the inter-disciplinary, trans-gender, post-truth and jack-of-all-trades type of people. I’m the representative of the generation which claims that we can never get our heads around just how fluid the concept of identity can be.
At the same time – I believe I am the representative of the renaissance people. The people that will give up the certain and the structured to throw themselves into the unknown. Perhaps only for a little while. Perhaps only for a moment. Perhaps for just as long as it takes to emerge from the place of uncertainty with the newly established norms of perception. But that little while is blissful. And it’s for the sake of experiencing it that we throw ourselves into it.
That’s why, I’m the representative of the generation which is not afraid not to be an expert. And I will always be the first one to admit that there’s things I don’t know. I’m not ashamed of it. If anything – I’m thrilled by it. ‘Coz it awakens a certain curiosity within me which makes me devour everything this life has to offer. Which opens up new ways to experience life. Each day – a new. ‘Coz I’m the representative of the generation which is here to experience the journey and not to arrive at the pre-defined destination.
But mainly – I’m the represetative of the generation which has a lot of love to give and things to share. I’m the representative of the generation where people care… not about effectivenes and gain, but about one another.
